Qatar
In February 2003, following a long and successful relationship
with Qatar, Eversheds formed an agreement of co-operation with Qatari
firm A Rahman Mohamed Al-Jufairi Advocates and Legal Consultants.
Al-Jufairi is a highly respected law firm specialising in corporate
and commercial work and has a strong reputation in energy, construction
and international projects, IP, labour law, banking and finance
(including Islamic banking and finance), litigation and dispute
management
Through this agreement with Al-Jufairi in Doha we can assist clients
with legal and commercial issues in the Gulf and act for Qatari
investors overseas. Qatar is one of the wealthiest states in the
Gulf and of huge strategic importance given its geographical position
and enormous energy reserves. Our physical presence in Doha strengthens
the link between Asia and our expertise in Europe and North America.
